Karin Shepherd is the glue that keeps our little band of JusticeSeekers together.  The plaque on her wall reads "Certified Professional Legal Secretary," but that is only the tip of the iceberg.  She really does hold the Firm together.

Karin came to work for Andy Vickery in February 2002.  On her first day, they had to complete and file a brief in the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.  She pulled it off with equanimity and good humor, and has been doing pretty much the same ever since.

Karin is a native of Port Arthur, Texas and has lived in the Houston area since 1983.  She has 27 years of legal experience, all with litigation firms.  If we were to rank her many positive qualities, client relationships and client service would be at the top.  That is very important because it reflects the priorities of our law firm.

Besides being a JusticeSeeker, Karin is an exceptional cook and baker and she happily makes each JusticeSeeker their favorite dessert on their birthday.  She also enjoys scrapbooking, saltwater fishing and golf.  She is an advocate for homeless animals and devotes her spare time to helping many four-legged friends find forever homes.  Karin also supports many no-kill animal shelters and pet rescue groups.
